Going anywhere for the first time can be an intimidating experience, especially when that "anywhere" is a new church.
All sorts of questions flood the mind: What will it be like? How long is the service? What's expected of me when I get there? How should I dress? I don't know anything about Christianity or God or anything... Will I be totally lost? Hopefully this page will answer some of these kinds of questions.
The Setting
The meeting is about 60 to 90 minutes long. If you get there late don't panic about it. Just come right in and find a seat. It is casual environment as far as dress goes. We have a sound system so you'll be able to hear everything from anywhere. You don't need your own bible, but feel free to bring one. There is free coffee at the end of the service so please feel free to stay and get to know other people.
The worship service is designed so that everyone should feel included, welcomed and be able to follow the service.
The Service
In our services, we'll sing a few songs. If you haven't been to our church before, you may not know the songs. That is ok, you'll pick them up as we sing. We'll sing songs, have a opening welcome, a sermon that runs anywhere from 25 to 35 minutes and then we'll sing some more.
What about Covid?
At Micklefield Elim Christian Fellowship, we hold your safety as a top priority. We provide hand sanitisier, face masks which we encourage you to wear during singing and when moving around the building. We request that you are sensitive to other peoples concerns.
